Lab Insights

ONE LAB. REAL ANSWERS. PERSONALIZED INSIGHTS.

What if this lab could explain what your doctor dismissed?

At Regulated Health, we specialize in functional lab testing that connects the dots between mental and physical health. Because symptoms like anxiety, depression, irritability, brain fog, and burnout don’t happen in a vacuum.

This is our single-lab option designed to help you get clarity on one key body system—without committing to the full bundle.

It’s ideal for returning clients who want to re-test, or for new clients who’ve already done similar testing elsewhere and just need to go deeper into one piece of the puzzle.

Lab Insights keeps it simple

Don’t need the full bASELINE?

→ You’re tired of being told everything looks “fine” when you know it’s not

→ You want to understand the root causes of your symptoms

→ You’re curious about functional testing but not ready to go all in

→ You’re confident in your ability to make suggested lifestyle and supplementation shifts without additional support

→ You’ve already done some labs and want to focus on one area

→ You’re a returning client looking to re-test or check progress

You won’t get the full picture from a single lab, but you will get clarity on what’s happening in one of the body’s core systems—and clear next steps on what to do about it.

This is a great fit if you…

LET’S GET TO THE ROOT

Each Option Includes:

Because anxiety, depression, fatigue, and burnout rarely come from just one place.

Each test gives us insight into a different—but connected—system that shapes how you feel:

WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT EACH TEST?

Bloodwork Insights

Choose this if you want the fastest, most medically-grounded clarity on what could be impacting your mood right now—things like thyroid patterns, iron status, inflammation, blood sugar stability, and key nutrient markers.

It’s the best “start here” option when anxiety or depression feels intense, confusing, or you want to rule in/out major physiological contributors.

LET's narrow it down.

Not Sure Where To Start?

GI Map Insights

Choose this if your mental health feels connected to gut symptoms, food reactions, inflammation, skin issues, or suspected absorption problems—because this test helps uncover gut-brain drivers that can keep the nervous system dysregulated.

HTMA Insights

Choose this starting point if your anxiety or depression feels more like chronic stress physiology (wired-but-tired, poor recovery, depletion, burnout patterns)—or if your bloodwork keeps coming back “normal” but you still don’t feel okay.

“This approach wasn’t just about labs, they asked me about my life too.
I’d never had a provider take the time to do that before and it made
all the difference ”  - April

“My doctor was like, “meh you’re fine, these symptoms are normal” — I knew they weren’t. Thanks for actually listening and helping take the right next steps. I feel better than I have in years." - Riley

“This wasn’t about overhauling my whole life overnight. Lauren helped me start with the foundations. The changes felt doable—and they’re making a difference I can actually feel.”
- Amanda

Once your lab results are in, you’ll meet with a Regulated Health provider to:

→ Review what the numbers actually mean (in plain English)
→ Understand how this system might be contributing to your symptoms
→ Get a clear, personalized, plan on what to focus on next

You’ll leave with answers—and support to take action.

FAQ: Regulated Health Foundations

FAQs
Is this enough on its own?
Lab Insights is a great starting point or re-entry path, but it only looks at one piece of the picture. For deeper clarity and personalized care, we recommend The Baseline. And for deeper, ongoing support, you can always continue care with our 6-month Regulated Reset program after your lab review.
Are labs done at home or in a clinic?
HTMA and GI MAP are completed at home. Bloodwork is done via a mobile phlebotomist (who can come to your home) or a local draw center.
Are phlebotomy fees covered?
No. This is something you will book and pay for separately. Legally we cannot cover this service as it’s regulated differently state-to-state. Fees typically range from $50–$150.
What’s the turnaround time for results and review?
Most labs take 10–14 days to process. Once your results are in, we’ll schedule your 60-minute review call at your convenience.
Do I need to be an existing client to book?
Nope. Lab Insights is available to both new and established clients.
Can I add on additional labs later?
Yes! You can simply book here for another one of our Lab Insight offers and after booking we’ll send you an established patient services guide.
Can I upgrade to Regulated Reset after doing Lab Insights?
Yes! After Lab Insights, many of our clients choose to continue through Regulated Reset after experiencing how helpful the process is. You’ll receive a $150 credit toward that program if you choose to continue care within 30 days of your lab review.
What do the labs consist of? How do I get them done?
Functional medicine lab kits are delivered to your door with full instructions for easy, at-home testing. For bloodwork, we’ll support you in finding a local phlebotomist to come to your house or a nearby draw center. (Note: phlebotomy fees are not included—typically $25–$100.)

The gut testing kit is a self-collected stool sample completed at home.
What does each panel cover?
Bloodwork:

Our comprehensive functional medicine blood panel uncovers root causes across hormones, thyroid, inflammation, nutrients, blood sugar, and more. It includes markers for:

Thyroid: TSH, Free T3, Free T4, Total T3 & T4, Anti-TPO, Anti-TG
Sex & adrenal hormones: Estradiol, Progesterone, LH, FSH, DHEA-S, Cortisol, Pregnenolone, Prolactin, Testosterone panel
Nutrients: Ferritin, Iron, Folate, Vitamin D, B12, B3, B6, Vitamin C, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper
Blood sugar: Fasting glucose, Insulin, A1c, Beta cell function, Leptin
Inflammation & cardiovascular: hs-CRP, Homocysteine, ox-LDL, Lipid panel
Organ function: CMP, CBC with differential & platelets
Autoimmunity: ANA IFA Panel

This panel helps us identify imbalances often missed in routine annual labs and shows whether anxiety or depression may be physiological—driven by thyroid issues, inflammation, nutrient depletion, or blood sugar instability.

Gut Panel (GI-MAP):

Our gut panel assesses:

– Bacterial imbalance (dysbiosis)
– Candida / fungal overgrowth
– Parasites or pathogens
– Digestive enzyme output
– Inflammation markers
– Short-chain fatty acids
– Gut barrier integrity (“leaky gut” markers)

GI-MAP helps us evaluate the gut-brain axis—often a major root cause of brain fog, low mood, irritability, anxiety, and chronic stress activation.

HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis):

HTMA uses a small hair sample to assess 2–3 months of mineral patterns and stress physiology. It gives us insight into:

– Core minerals (Ca, Mg, Na, K)
– Key ratios (Ca/Mg, Na/K, Zn/Cu)
– Heavy metals (lead, mercury, aluminum)
– Metabolic patterning (slow/fast oxidation)

HTMA helps us determine whether anxiety, depression, or burnout symptoms may be “physiology-first”—driven by mineral depletion, chronic stress load, or nervous system adaptation patterns.
